Danelis supports the team in Panama already since 2012, initially as an employee in the accounting, human resources and administration departments, but since the beginning of 2020 Danelis is responsible for the management of the ForestFinance subsidiary in Panama. She is happy to bring her more than 20 years of professional experience to ForestFinance because she fully supports the companies philosophy: "I think that the forest does a great job because it has a positive influence not only on the environment but also on society. Our reforestations are of great importance to the local people and help families to stay together and earn their living under fair conditions".
Julissa supports the team in Panama since the beginning of 2018 and manages the cocoa and mixed forest projects in the forestry department. Julissa's tasks include cocoa quality management, the preparation of forest growth data as well as the recording and organisation of ForestFinance reforestations. A graduate in environmental science and geography, Julissa has worked at the renowned Smithsonian Tropical Research Institute and gained many years of experience in the management of forest and agroforestry projects. She is convinced that "ForestFinance is a model company in Panama which has contributed a great deal in the field of green investments and environmental services".
After her forest science studies at the “Instituto Tecnológico de Costa Rica” Yaels Camacho worked for the research department of the Costa Rican ministry of agriculture and for an agro forest project at the CATIE, the famous tropical agronomic centre for research and education. Since 2005, the Costa Rican has been part of the ForestFinance team in Las Lajas. She manages the ForestFinance office in Las Lajas and is responsible for everything related to the growing of trees – and a lot more.
